- Battery lifetime: The battery is a lithium ion battery and like all lithium batteries, the lifetime is very dependent on the care given to the battery (not over charging, not storing in an uncharged state etc). If the proper care is given, it is expected to last many years. Slinger suggests charging the battery to full after each use and removing from the charger when the charge is complete. If the battery will not be used within a 30 day time frame, then charge the battery once every 30 days to maintain the battery life. Do not store the battery in freezing temperatures or temperatures above 30C.
